STAGE MANAGER APPRENTICESHIP

$250 flat-rate tuition for the session

Not required to be enrolled in a skills-based class

Must be available during production rehearsals and for all of the tech and show weeks (rehearsal schedules are not available until the shows are cast)
Job Description​

Take notes of blocking, character notes, etc.
-
Maintain a clean, safe, and inclusive rehearsal environment for all actors
-
Ensure the actors have adequate rehearsal props, attire, and break time
-
Communicate the director's needs to designers, builders, and actors
-
Keep a record of blocking light cues, sound cues, props, set changes, and costume changes in a master copy of the script (called the "prompt book")

Use the prompt book to call cues during the run of the show
-
Receive top-notch training and real-life experience to include on future job applications and more

Requirements

2+ years of theatre experience
-
1+ year(s) of job/volunteer experience in the community
-
Must be a High School Student
-
GPA of 2.9 or higher
