About the event
This theatrical event, based on the picture book by Denise Gallagher, follows a talented hound dog named Bouzou as he romps through the swamp to the Big City performing for his adoring fans – including bullfrogs, egrets, dogs, and cats. A tiny nemesis causes a bit of trouble but will soon have you itching for more!
The live musical theater performance will be a culmination of a four-day workshop for children entering 3rd-7th Grade. The camp will be FREE for actors chosen through an audition process thanks to a generous grant from ArtSpark.
Video audition applications will be accepted from April 15-June 7, 2024.
Workshop dates are Friday and Saturday, August 23-24, 2024 and Friday and Saturday, August 30-31, 2024. Final performance is FREE to friends and family!
